Pro-D Day Camp | SFU Burnaby | October 24 | Grades K-7

Calling all adventures! Science AL!VE is looking for a party of determined thrill seekers to traverse the lands of Wattson-Ville. Are you looking to battle dragons and learn the science behind your gear? In this Pro-D Day event, adventurers will be training in a variety of workshops to ready themselves for a day of exploring and science. Will you be able to overcome the challenges and achieve victory in Wattson-Ville or will you need to hit the training grounds again to hone your skills?

Sling into action in this action-packed quest where we learn all about projectiles and forces. How do things flying in the air and what can we use to launch our arrows into motion. Come craft a working hand ballista to aid you in your adventure throughout the day.

Hold your horses, and put it in a wagon. Come ride into the sunset with this workshop all about transportation. Learn about how things move and methods to move your party across the land of Wattson-Ville.

Stop dragon this on and get on to this quest! Proceed through the dragon’s den and learn all about the science around air and its movement. See if you can protect yourself against the beast’s wintery breath in this workshop.
